Afterschool Instructional Teacher (Secondary Schools)

The Henrico Education Foundation (HEF) is seeking an educator who believes strong schools make strong communities.

The Henrico Education Foundation is excited to provide afterschool enrichment to middle and high school students attending select Henrico County schools through the 21st Century Grant award from the Virginia Department of Education. Serving participants in our Community Learning Centers, our after-school program focuses on engaging and empowering children through activities that support their academic, physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs. Our afterschool teachers are responsible for literacy and/or math instruction in a group setting.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Facilitates academic literacy/math activities, including: homework support, academic stations, small group activities, whole group games, test preparation.
