Summary
The Director of Global Supply Chain and Product Engineering reports to the President and seeks to understand all aspects of the business they and their team support. The Director of Global Supply Chain and Product Engineering manages two main functions, which are joined due to the critical mass of product and vendor knowledge.
The Supply Chain function is tasked with actively managing Quality, Delivery, Cost (total landed and out the door costs), and Inventory performance of the supply chain to the benefit of company and company’s customers.
The Product Engineering function owns the tactical side of product lifecycle management. This includes but is not limited to delivering NPD projects on specification and on time, managing the item master / bill of materials, and managing the technical aspects of sustaining engineering projects including cost savings and vendor diversification projects.
