Shift Leader Geophysicist (US Based) in Texas

The Shift Leader Geophysicist assists the Chief Field Geophysicist in developing and executing the workflows to generate and QC the seismic deliverables.

Main Responsibilities:

• The seismic operations take place in very variable environments (different seas, different areas, different seasons, different vessels, different equipment, different client requirements and different resources). This position must be able to cope with these environments to do the tasks described herein.
• Under the direction of the Chief Field Geophysicist execute the workflows and analyze the QC outputs as part of the department effort to generate and QC the seismic deliverables.
• At the direction of the Chief Field Geophysicist analyze marginal and anomalous data and advise the client QC and Party Manager on the acceptability of the data.
