Building Custodian in Texas

Provides custodial support as assigned, to include daily and weekly cleaning and related activities.

• Performs daily cleaning tasks, including trash disposal, cleaning of all common areas/kitchens/restrooms, and related duties.
• Performs weekly cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, furniture polishing, mopping, sweeping of outside entrances and sidewalks, and related duties.
• Assists in the provision of training and safety education for residents participating in custodial activities.
• Performs collateral tasks such as buffing/waxing floors, shampooing carpets, snow removal from entrances, on an as-needed basis.
• Exhibits appropriate interaction with residents.

Requirements

1. A high school diploma or GED equivalency is required.

2. Experience in custodial and maintenance operations is preferred.

3. Proficiency in general custodial equipment operation is preferred.
