Tooling Engineer in Tennessee

As part of our team, you are responsible for identifying new methods, resolving problems, achieving cost savings, and working with internal teams to ensure production runs smoothly and safely. Our ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, professional experience within a manufacturing and design environment, and strong problem-solving and math skills. 

Responsibilities:

• Act as the single point of contact to resolve tool-related problems related to manufacturing
• Coordinate with the plant to resolve safety, quality, throughput, or cost issues related to tooling
• Generate and implement cost savings ideas to reduce tool and manufacturing costs
• Ensure tool use issues and availability do not interrupt production
