Instrumentation and Controls Technician in Pennsylvania

The Instrumentation and Controls Technician is responsible for performing all duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems, equipment, and fixtures under the supervision of the Project Director.

• Inspects and troubleshoots mechanical and electrical equipment and fixtures using test equipment, devices, non-intrusive technology, and other industry related procedures.
• Inspects flow meters, gauges, flow ratios, pressures and related controls on instrument panels, computer terminals and programmable logic control units and diagnoses basic operational problems.
• Takes corrective action per procedure in assigned area. Verifies and reports suspected malfunctions and variances to supervisor.
• Performs routine and preventative maintenance, lubrication and minor adjustments on machines and related equipment which may include pumps, engines, centrifuges, generators, valves, gates,...
