Transportation Engineer in Ohio

Hire Resolve’s client is a leading Civil Engineering firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a Transportation Engineer in Columbus, OH.

Responsibilities:

• Field observations of traffic conditions, traffic data collection, and ITS assets and provide recommendations
• Traffic engineering operations analysis and modeling
• Traffic safety studies, crash data analysis, and evaluating new technologies to improve traffic safety and operations on existing roadways
• Assist in developing ITS & traffic engineering design plans including traffic signals, detectors, devices, sensors, systems, signing & pavement markings, roadway lighting and maintenance of traffic
• Prepare cost estimates and specifications
• Prepare technical reports and memos to document findings and recommendations
