Manages all commercial aspects of Strategic Sales Accounts as well as developing and closing on new accounts and opportunities in the assigned territory and/or market. The Business Development Manager II establishes and maintains direct contact with the customer base and is required to coordinate the tactical support of customer requirements. This includes the coordination of quotation requests with Marketing and Customer Service, as well as the establishment of forecasts.
The Business Development Manager II is responsible for the identification of new accounts and market opportunities within their territory to foster growth within current and new markets and market segments. This role will be responsible for management of a complex portfolio of existing accounts, new accounts, and high value prospects within their assigned territory.
