Wheelchair Repair Technician (Part Time) in New York

Position Overview

As part of the On A Roll team, the Wheelchair Repair Technician performs activities to support the adjustment and repair of wheelchairs and other rehabilitation devices for members. This includes communication and coordination with members, internal staff and external providers. This work is carried out in support of the mission and goals of On A Roll.

Essential Functions

• Provides excellent customer service and maintains relationships with members, ICS staff and suppliers with regard to equipment needs.
• Evaluates and repairs motorized and manual wheelchairs.
• Completes and submits proper documentation on a timely basis, and alerts Repair Manager when parts are needed to complete the repair of a wheelchair.
