UI Artist in New York

Hometopia is looking for a talented UI artist to design and craft the tone, feel and visual aesthetic of the game’s UI. You will own the process from ideation to asset creation for all the game’s 2D visual elements, ensuring quality and consistency across every icon, screen and menu. This is first and foremost an art role, not a UX designer position, however, having expertise in UX design is a plus.

• Work with game director to develop an overall aesthetic that effectively conveys the intended tone and personality of the game
• Create mockups, mood boards, style guides, color schemes and asset libraries
• Design and create high-quality 2D UI assets: iconography, containers, menus, buttons, HUD elements and other design elements
• Collaborate with UX designer and engineers to implement UI elements into the game
