Staff Plumbing/Fire Protection Engineer in New York

Hire Resolve’s client is urgently seeking the expertise of a Staff Plumbing/Fire Protection Engineer in Melville, NY.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in project design and development tasks, including drawings, calculations, cost estimates and specifications for various large and small scale plumbing and/or fire protection projects.
• Assist in the coordination of projects with other engineering and architecture departments within the firm.
• In coordination with project level engineers, create plumbing contract drawings and specifications for public bid.
• Construction administration responsibilities which include the review of contract submittals.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
