Production General Labor in New York

Parallel Employment Group in partnership with a Lancaster fabrication supplier is seeking a motivated, dependable, and hard working indivdidual in the Production area. Cutting, bending, and packaging rebar and reinforcement materials.

This is a heavy position, lifting 40-50 lbs consistently.

7 am - 3:30 pm; Monday - Friday

Wage: $20-22 per hour; based on experience

Must have reliable transporation; not on a bus route

Main responsbilities include:

• Cutting, bending, and packaging rebar
• Assisting Machine Operators
• Operating a forklift and material handling equipment as needed
• Inspection and quality control

Requirements

• Seeking someone that can physical and safely lift 50-60 lbs consistently throughout a 8-10 hour shift
• Previous forklift experience helpful but not required
• Solid work history
• 2-5+ years of recent manufacturing...

Parallel Employment is currently seeking for a Production General Labor for a fulfillment service provider company in Buffalo/Lancaster.

In Office Screening to be completed prior to submission for interview consideration.

Pay Rate $20 to $22/hr. DOE

This position will be general labor that includes a variety of daily tasks including but not limited to;

Cutting, bending and packaging of rebar

Assisting machine operators

Preforming general property duties

Working in a team on shipping needs

Forklift certified is preferred

Requirements

Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds

Must be able to read a tape measure

Extended hours may be required during peak production

Some heavy lifting may be necessary

Working conditions can be noisy, dusty, hot, cold
