Per Diem Registered Nurse in New York

Brooklyn based Home Care Agency looking to hire Full Time and Fee for Service Home Care Visiting Nurse. Providers' quality care to patients in a home care setting. Conducts a thorough and precise assessment of patient condition, functional abilities, home bound status, and environment and social factors.

Provides care in accordance with physician orders, the patient's condition, accepted standards of practice and Agency policies. Identifies changes in patient conditions, consults with patient care team, and implements appropriate interventions. Must complete paperwork properly and timely including and submit to clinical team for processing. We prefer Registered Nurse that have home care experience, but we are willing to train. Bachelor's Degree Preferred, Computer Experience, and Malpractice Insurance, willing to travel.

Requirements

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• RN (Preferred)
• Malpractice Insurance

Utilizing the Nursing Process, the Staff Nurse assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care; and coordinates patient care provided by other disciplines which meet the physiological, safety, spiritual and psychosocial needs of the patients and their families, according to the New York State Nurse Practice Act, established Calvary Hospital Nursing policies, procedures and standards of care, Geriatric Standards of Care, and Regulatory Standards. Participates in the ongoing systematic Quality Assessment and Improvement process.

Requirements

1. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
2. Current New York State Registered Nurse License/Permit.
3. Effective written and spoken communication skills.
4. Exhibits an ability and attitude relative to the spirit of caring and tradition at Calvary Hospital as required by specific job duties and functions.
