The ELA Teacher is the lead reading and writing teacher for seventh grade. The teacher facilitates students' development and acquisition of reading comprehension, persuasive and expository writing, creative writing, grammar and vocabulary skills. The ELA Teacher develops a deep conceptual understanding of English Language Arts concepts that are aligned with New York State Next Generation Learning Standards and facilitates the successful implementation of a rigorous curriculum to ensure that all students master the standard and meet individualized academic goals.
