Instrument Person in New York

Hire Resolve’s client is urgently seeking the expertise of an Instrument Person in New York.

Responsibilities:

• Work in a two-man field crew.
• Prepare field notes, sketches and photos.
• Collect data for boundary, topographic, utility, construction layout, wetlands, ALTA/NSPS, project levels, and other types of surveys.
• Utilize robotic total stations, optical/digital levels, and GPS.
• Perform daily downloads of data collector files.
• Adhere to company protocols for maintenance and upkeep of survey equipment and vehicles.
• Interface with clients in the field and report project status to the assigned project manager.
• Adjust survey instruments such as total stations and prism poles.
• As an Instrument Person assigned to a field position you will be expected to perform work year-round, in varying weather conditions that may be wet, cold or hot. You will have to carry equipment and lift...
