Geotechnical department is looking for a candidate to support our growing team in the New York southern tier area (not New York City). This employee may be an entry level up to an associate level. Duties:

• Perform geotechnical field services, which may include subsurface exploration layouts, drilling and test pit inspections, geophysical surveys, and construction monitoring.
• Perform visual classification and laboratory testing of soil samples collected during the subsurface investigation.
• Prepare subsurface exploration logs for use in geotechnical evaluations and reports.
• Perform geotechnical evaluations and prepare report drafts for senior review.
