You would take MRI images as requested by the provider to help with the patient's diagnosis and treatment. Without the image, the provider may not have enough information to proceed, so your role is literally make or break! What would you do as a MRI Technologist?

The MRI Technologist is responsible for obtaining high quality images as requested from medical professionals for use in the development of patient treatment plans. You can expect to regularly:

• Operate high field strength magnets and related equipment to produce radiographic images of patients’ specific body parts;
• Operate a Magnetic Resonance (MR) scanner to obtain images used by physicians, determine appropriate imaging techniques, and operate console and peripheral hardware;
