RMC is hiring Writer-Editor I to support the Public Affairs / Corporate Communications Division at NSWC Indian Head.  The selected candidate must have strong writing skills to assist in the planning, writing and editing of feature news and technical articles, internal communications, reports and presentations for release to interested internal or external audiences. Assist is the production of printed materials.  In addition, have the ability to build relationships throughout the command as well as with the media and external stakeholders. Provide writing and editing support to NSWC Indian Head Public Affairs office. Support includes providing assistance to the planning, writing and editing of feature news and technical articles, internal communications, reports and presentations for release to interested internal or external audiences is required. The ability to build coalitions throughout the command as well as with the media, external stakeholders, and other individuals of considerable influence is required. Must have demonstrated professional experience writing and copy editing articles, press releases or other written content describing complex scientific or technical topics using lay language for a general audience. Working knowledge of Associated Press (AP) Stylebook required.
