Senior Job Developer in Maryland

Under the supervision of the Senior Job Developer supports the mission of CAN by identifying career opportunities and strengthening job readiness skills for job seekers in the community.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Temporary – March 1 – June 30, 2023 – Hours – 20 hours – option M-F daytime hours between 8:30 am – 5 pm OR 20 hours evenings & weekends.
• Conduct intakes and assessments with job seekers to understand and explore their strengths, needs, interests, aptitudes, and capabilities.
• Assist clients to create and revise resumes as well as complete employment applications.
• Knowledge of the current labor market as well as experience using job search tools and resources.
• Create and facilitate two interactive job readiness workshops for community members monthly.
