For more than 40 years, our experts have worked tirelessly alongside people with disabilities and marginalized communities to help them meet their basic needs, improve their living conditions, and promote respect for their dignity and fundamental rights. Founded in 1982, the HI Network now has more than 5,000 staff worldwide. Eight national associations, based in Belgium, Canada, Germany, France, Luxembourg, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States, provide overall support for our global activities.
