Blender in Illinois

​​We are seeking a Blender to join the team at Our Home. In this role, you will be responsible for weighing, batching, and mixing ingredients used in our production lines. You will follow all safety and quality procedures, ensure that production meets the required standards, and provide support to the production staff.  ​ 

• Have a thorough understanding of all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to the blender position 
• Comply with safety procedures and programs 
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the production areas and supporting equipment, following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) protocols  
• Serve as a point of contact for blending protocols during shift hours when management is not present 

• Complete any other duties assigned by management
• Shift: 3rd - 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

​​This role contributes to Our Home's success by weighing, batching, mixing, monitoring, and documenting the flour ingredients used for the production lines and packaging and documenting the finished product produced from the production lines while following all HACCP procedures, ensuring quality measures are met, and assisting the supporting production staff.  ​ 

• Responsible for having a working knowledge of all SOPs associated with the blender/packer positions 
• Compliance required with safety procedures and programs 
• Responsible for the cleaning and sanitation of the production areas and supporting equipment, food safety, and following Good Manufacturing Practices protocols  
• Serves as primary point of contact for blending protocols for the employees on their shift when management is not present
