Orthodontic Dental Assistant in Idaho

Busy orthodontic practice is looking for a motivated, outgoing, someone that likes hands on treatment, enjoys working with teens/pre-teens and friendly assistant to join our team! Must be able to work in a fast paced office and always maintain a great attitude and superior customer service.

This is a full time position (approximately 32-36 hours per week). Relevant orthodontic experience preferred.

JOB SUMMARY: The primary role of the orthodontic dental assistant is to provide clinical care and ensure a positive experience for our patients. This includes welcoming the patient to the office, seating them, reading the chart and setting up for the doctor. Once seated, the DA checks the patients treatment progress and advises the doctor on patient oral health and any questions or concerns they may have. The DA should be able to successfully fit orthodontic bands, tie arch wires, take impressions, assist in cementing bands and bonding brackets, and perform all necessary...
