AdeptHR is hiring for immediate Jockey Operator / 'Yard Jockey' Openings!
A jockey operator, also known as a yard jockey, is a driver who moves trailers around the warehouse. Their responsibilities include:
- Trailer movement: moving trailers to and from loading docks, and or other locations
- Trailer organization: organizing trailers for loading, unloading etc.
- Shipping documentation: Maintaining shipping documents, filling out delivery forms, and verifying shipping documents
- Communication: Communicating with the gate, dock office, and management
- Yard upkeep: Keeping the yard organized and performing yard checks
- Forklift operation: May operate a forklift to load or unload trailers
Starting pay of $18 per hour, with room for growth and overtime...
