Elks Aidmore, Inc. is one of the fastest growing therapeutic foster care programs in Georgia; with locations in Conyers, Dalton, Savannah and Valdosta. We are seeking an experienced and versatile Resource Development Specialist in the Savannah area that is able to work with diverse populations to identify new families interested in becoming foster parents with our agency. Our ideal candidate has experience in resource development, recruitment and writing home studies which will aide in expanding our foster care program in Savannah, Ga. and the surrounding areas. The person must have an understanding of community-based child welfare, as well as, able to work with young people who exhibit varying emotional and behavioral problems. In addition, this individual must be able to effectively relate to clients, foster parents/custodians of all social, economic, ethnic, cultural and educational backgrounds.
