Job Summary

As a Communication Systems Engineer at Aetos Systems, you will be responsible for researching, designing, developing, testing, and overseeing the installation of communication systems at Kennedy Space Center including mission imagery systems.

This is a represented salaried position with the IBEW Union. 

Duties/Responsibilities

• Frequent use and application of electrical, mechanical and computer science engineering standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques.
• Work with customers to develop system requirements.
• Define configuration of various imagery components including and not limited to; Baseband, Infrared, High Speed Digital and IP camera systems, camera pan/tilt and tracking components, timecode inserters, video encoders and decoders, media converters, video routing systems, imagery recorders and display units.
