CNC Programmer / Manufacturing Engineer in Florida

Job Summary:

The CNC Programmer / Engineer plays a key role in maintaining, developing, overseeing, and to some degree operating manufacturing systems such as CNC Machines. The Programmer is responsible for keeping the production costs down, while maintaining quality of the product and extensive knowledge into project details. Finally, the Programmer will act as a key communicator between both internal and external channels to ensure efficient product delivery and customer satisfaction.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Initiates, prepares, and completes all necessary Methods of Manufacture [Bill of Material and Router] related to the manufacture of a part to the customer’s print.
• Prepares production prints using SolidWorks based upon customer supplied drawings [usually Adobe files]; also utilizes manufacturers' spec sheets or other quality specifications in the creation of production prints.
