Billing Coordinator in District Of Columbia

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a thorough knowledge of client terms, discount arrangements, attorney and client preferences while managing the complete billing process for all of the attorneys in the Boston office
• Produce Firm standard billing proformas for review by billing responsible attorneys each month
• Edit and finalize invoices based on instructions provided by the billing responsible attorneys and client guidelines; maintain and update billing instructions in Elite Enterprise System
• Submit electronic invoices via e-billing guidelines; monitor submitted invoices to confirm acceptance and appeal rejections; add timekeepers for rate approvals and appeal rejections
• Respond to information requests from attorneys, clients and staff related to client billings
• Follow-up with billing responsible attorneys to ensure timely processing of bills
• Research proformas or billing-related inquiries
