As a Vehicle Dynamics and Control engineer, you would be responsible for developing vehicle flight dynamics models, conducting stability and control analysis, providing guidance to support configuration design and trade-off studies, as well as designing the vehicle flight control laws for the Primary Flight Control System (PFCS) and the Automatic Flight Control System (AFCS).
The ideal candidate for this position has a strong grasp of vehicle modeling, stability, and control fundamentals and is able to draw from their previous experiences in fixed-wing or rotorcraft dynamics and control but understands that direct application of those experiences is usually not possible and that their previous experiences need to be adjusted with understanding based on fundamental concepts.
