Director, Communications & Public Affairs in California

We are seeking a full-time Director with strategic and digital communications experience to join our team in San Francisco, CA. This role will focus on crafting narratives, shaping public opinion, and driving communications strategy for clients in a range of industries.

In this role, you will support Cuberg in its development of state-of-the-art lithium-metal batteries for aviation and other high-performance vehicles. The work will involve managing Cuberg’s public affairs and story in both media and industrial settings.  

Shaping the public presence of Cuberg and media relations will be primary responsibilities, but additional functions include supporting fund raising and engagement with public bodies.  

You will work closely with senior management team of Cuberg on-site in San Leandro. Additionally, you will have frequent engagement with the Corporate Communications team of Northvolt in Stockholm. 

By representing Cuberg in working with the Director of Communications & Public Affairs Northvolt North America, you will also have a responsibility for shaping Northvolt’s growing presence in the region.
