We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Storeroom Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory, maintaining the storeroom, and supporting daily operational needs. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and a keen eye for detail.
Salary: $28 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory and supplies.
- Organize and maintain storeroom shelves to ensure items are easily accessible.
- Track and update inventory records, including stock levels and item location.
- Prepare orders and distribute supplies to various departments as needed.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in inventory audits.
- Assist with the disposal of obsolete or damaged items.
- Report stock shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Assist in restocking and replenishing items when necessary.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Basic computer skills (experience with inventory management software is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
