Role Overview

As a Ho’okele caregiver, you will provide personal care for 1-2 clients concerning their safety, health, and overall well-being. This may include meal prep, grooming, bathing, med reminders, light housekeeping, dressing, and restroom assistance. Our ideal candidate must be attentive to monitoring vital signs and compassionate for their work in satisfying their client’s care. The position is both part time at $17/hr and full time at $18/hr, shifts can range from 4 to 12 hours long.

* Full time $18 will be after a successful completion of 90 day training/introductory period. During 90 day training/introductory period pay is $17/hour. Part time will be $16 during this period *

* Shifts less than 8 hours will earn a differential which pays $2 MORE per hour both full time and part time *

Requirements

• MUST HAVE valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) OR proof of completion of a Nursing Assistant (NA) program
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and First-Aid certification (no online certifications).
• Reliable transportation.
• Clear background checks and drug screening.
• Health Clearance / Physical Exam (within a year)
• Proof of 2-Step and current TB clearance (within a year)
• Must have a smartphone
• COVID-19 vaccine or have a medical/ religious exemption
